Interest visualizer visualizes the user’s concentration while studying. My mother is a middle school teacher. She tells me that the concentration level of students is directly related to the efficiency of their studies. I created this website for teachers like my mother. Mindwave can measure the user’s attention and meditation status.
Attention data can be used to measure a student’s concentration. I use a range of 0 to 100 to map this data, where 0 is complete lack of concentration and 100 is full concentration. To aid teachers in its use, my website’s background color directly correlates with this data. If the student has high concentration, the color will be dark red. The less concentration the student has, the brighter the color will become. The teacher can make the window of the web page smaller to only display a portion of the color, this way it won’t interfere with the students’ studying.
According to study, the concentration level of humans is affected by the status of the human body and can not maintain concentration for prolonged period of time. Thus this web page can help teachers when to schedule a break for students to improve the quality of the students’ learning experience. Because meditation maps the user’s brain activity. I can use it to calculate a student’s engagement. This thinking data can help a teacher to see if the student is thinking and improve the teaching process.
I will upload these data to the cloud. In this way both the student and the teacher can have access to them. This allows them to create a individualized study plan in order to improve study efficiency.
